What Do Our Customers Think About Our Product?

Mark, a member of a Globally Known Gas and Oilfield Services Supplier had the following to say about our product:

  •  "Our teams are using these in the North Dakota winters as cold as 20 below zero. We have beat these things against telephone poles just to see how tough they are. I have to say that the Accu-Strap Gauging Instruments  definitely earn the title "Unbreakable"."

Response -  "Thank you Mark! While the Accu-Strap Product Line is virtually unbreakable, we recommend to our customers that they refrain from taking strikes to the Accu-Strap Product Line at temperatures colder than negative 30 Fahrenheit."

  •  "We ordered 26 Accu-Strap Gauging Instruments at the top of the year and they are still in use today with minimal sign of wear."

Response - "Mark, we want to thank you folks for your large initial order. We understand that because Accu-Strap is a new name on the  board, many potential customers will shy away for fear of an inferior product or a scam of one type or another."

  •  "The Accu-Strap Gauging Instruments definitely outlast any of the wooden sticks that we have had in the field thus far."

Response - "As the Accu-Strap Product Line is comprised of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or "Teflon", our product is VERY durable and chemically resistant across a myriad of different mediums."

  • "We found that, when used in less viscous chemicals,  the chemical would sheet off of the Accu-Strap Gauging Instrument making it difficult to read with accuracy."

Response - Mark, I just want to say that we appreciate your input whether it be negative or positive. We all learn from our mistakes...As a result of your input we at Accu-Strap have increased the depth of our engravings on our gauging instruments as well as we started a new process of "roughing" the glaze so that the less viscous chemicals will not "Sheet" off. As a matter of testing, we have used the newly "Roughed" gauging instruments in an emulsifier or "Water Wetter" as well as in IPA or "Isopropyl Alcohol" and both marked well on the Instrument." And lastly, we changed the orientation of the numerals so that they are at a 90 degree orientation to the liquid level being read."

Another potential customer asked the following:

  •  We are looking for a gauge stick that comes with a Certificate of Calibration. There is no  maker our there that has this. How hard would it be to provide such a certificate with the Accu-Strap Gauging Instruments?

Response - We have discussed this with our engineering and development group. We love the concept although the term Calibration leaves the impression the Accu-Strap Gauging instruments will have need of a re-calibration sometime in the future. Rather, each Accu-Strap Gauging Instrument will come with a Certificate of Accuracy to 1/16" at room temperature.

I recently held a conversation with a Safety Lead for a well known gas and oil company during which the following comment was made:

  • "One of our crews had an injury which lead to "Down Time" and "Work Time Loss".  The injury was a 3" splinter from a wooden gauge stick that penetrated deep into the individuals palm. Have you had any issues of this sort associated with your  product?

Response - Well, as the Accu-Strap Product is made of PVC and is virtually unbreakable, I can proudly say we have had ZERO occurrences of this nature. Nor do I see any in the future. Our gauging instruments do not break, do not become chemically saturated, do not "Strap Off". I would have to say that this makes our product one of if not the safest bulk liquid level measuring device on the market today.

That gives me an idea for a new  slogan. Instead of "You Can't Beat This With a Stick", perhaps, "No More Splinters!"
