When utilizing the "Accu-Strap ^TM" System, the Gauging Instrument is inserted through the fill opening of the liquid container, much the same as the typical manual gauge sticks on the market today. Although, assuming that the initial calibration has been completed on the "Accu-Strap ^TM" System, the Gauging Instrument does not come into contact with the bottom of the container. Rather, the "Accu-Strap ^TM" Collar rests on the top of the fill opening thus providing a standard reference point and suspending the end of the "Accu-Strap ^TM" Gauging Instrument just off of the bottom of the tote. The entire "Accu-Strap ^TM" System is then withdrawn and liquid level is determined by observing the wetted portion of the Instrument.
