A Little About Cory

After working as an Engineer in the Semi-Conductor industry for 13 years, Cory decided to make a career change and seek employment in the gas and oil fields of Wyoming. It was here that he took note of the fact that while companies such as BK Gauge and Bagby, while producing high quality wooden gauge sticks, they were found "wanting" when it came to the rigorous 24 hour applications of the oil and gas fields.

While wooden gauge sticks are more than sufficient to the task of the occasional gauging or “Strapping” of petroleum product containers, they seem to fall short when applied to the chemicals of other industries throughout the world. Many of the chemicals will eat away at the layers of lamination in short order, thus exposing the porous wood to saturation and contamination thereby shortening the lifespan of the stick dramatically.

Cory knew there had to be a better way and set to work at the task of finding it. Not long after, the “Accu-StrapTM” PVC Gauging Instrument was born.

Cory lives in Parma, Idaho on his family's'  homestead where he and his wife raise their children with pride, patience and honest values.

While this product could be made for much less in other countries, Cory and his partners take pride in the fact that the “Accu-StrapTM” Product Line is an Idaho product manufactured in the United States of America.

Accu-Strap LLC has partnered with a number of local businesses to accommodate the growing need for the “Accu-StrapTM” PVC gauging instruments and accessories. The product line continues to evolve and grow in order to meet the rapidly changing demands of the liquid level monitoring applications world over.
